Dan Becker has more than 20 years of experience practicing employment and labor law. He began working at a preeminent national employment and labor law firm in California representing private and public employers, then returned to Minnesota where he focused on doing the same in Minnesota educational institutions. More recently, he has been focused on employment and corporate law issues for private employers.
Mr Becker has extensive experience: defending employers in employment litigation in State and Federal district and appellate courts, responding to discrimination claims filed with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights and the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, representing parties in labor negotiations, unfair labor practice proceedings, grievance arbitrations, unit clarification and other administrative hearings, and engaging in preventive employment practices including drafting, reviewing and revising personnel policies and employment agreements. Mr Becker has been a lecturer on labor relations, employment, education and data privacy law.
